How did you get started in the jewelry industry?By accident. While going to school to be a Theatre Arts teacher I was a server at a Yakatori Grill. I was asked by a customer if I wanted to work for him after being impressed with our interaction. I thought he managed for another restaurant. Turned out he was the General Manager of a jewelry store. Ten years and thousands of successful proposals later, I feel very lucky to have found this path.
What do you love most about working in the jewelry industry?Helping those who have not one ounce of romance in their bones find a way to show how much they care for their partner. The romance shouldn't stop after the "I do's."
Tell us a fun fact about you or Jeweler's Touch.I love to take songs and change the lyrics ala Weird Al style, to create songs for my wife despite being musically challenged. One Valentine's Day, I changed The Beatles "Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da" to be about the night we met. "Sometimes should you dazzle her eyes with gifts, always should you dazzle her heart with thought."
