How did you get started in the jewelry industry?When I moved to California in 1985 my girlfriend was wearing a crystal bracelet that she made.
I insisted she teach me how, and we were off to the jewelry supply store. I made 10 of them and became addicted. I took classes in many mediums & techniques and started my own jewelry making business. I design jewelry, write patterns, and teach classes in my free time.
What do you love most about working in the jewelry industry?Hearing the sentimental value of the client's jewelry and what influences their style. Everyone has such a unique style and taste.
