How did you get started in the jewelry industry?

When I was little I was always making bead necklaces, bracelets, etc. In High School, I was making and selling feather earrings when it was trendy. After graduating from the University of California, Riverside; I always wanted to get into the industry but I didn’t know how. So, I enrolled in GIA and earned a degree in Graduate Gemology. Following that I worked at Cartier for 4 years. I was awarded a scholarship from Tiffany & Co for GIA's Jewelry Design & Technology program.
